2011 Boston Blast Fall Fiesta and Fundraiser
Benefitting American Boston Terrier Rescue
Welcome to ABTR’s Boston Blast Fall Fiesta and Fundraiser virtual online auction!
This auction features loads of beautiful items donated by our wonderful friends, adopters and supporters, all in an effort to raise money to defray ABTR’s vetting costs. Each listing features an item that has been handcrafted or purchased for the sole purpose of raising money for homeless Boston Terriers, and 100% of the winning bid will be applied to ABTR’s veterinary bill.
These items will make outstanding gifts for your own pups, or for a deserving friend/family member/neighbor/coworker. Best of all, your bid will help Boston Terriers that have fallen on hard times. 100% of the money donated from these auctions will be applied to ABTR's veterinary bill.
Here's how it works: The minimum bid price is included in each listing. Please place your bids in whole dollar increments, and please include your email address and mailing address with each bid. Due to problems with fraudulent bids in the past, bids which do not include this information will be removed.
Note: Your mailing address information will not be published and can only be viewed by the ABTR Fundraising Director. We use this information to calculate shipping costs and verify the validity of each bid.
This online fundraising event begins immediately and will end at 9pm CST, Friday, September 30th.
If you would like to make a donation directly toward the dogs' veterinary care, you may send a PayPal payment to fundraiser @ rescuebostons.org, or a check to ABTR, PO Box 1286, Little Elm, TX 75068. (ABTR is a 501c3 charity and all donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law; a receipt will be provided for all donations!)
The ABTR Board of Directors (Wanda, Gareth, Micah, Heidi, Kristi, Terry and Brooke) would like to thank you all for your continued support. Your generosity has enabled our little group to save the lives of hundreds of abandoned, neglected and abused Boston Terriers each year. Times are tough and the demand for rescue is greater than ever, and we could not continue this very important work without your help. Thank you.

A little bit about flame painting - The intricate colors and patterns are created on copper w/o the use of paint or chemicals. An oxyacetylene torch creates the colors, which are dependent upon the number of times the heat is applied, the duration of application, and other environmental factors.  **Bidding for this item has ended.** This cute little fella is in really nice condition. Only in a few places does the white paint appear to be wearing a bit. I have this exact same doorstop and the paint on mine is the same way. Perhaps this is intentional - I never really noticed it until I began inspecting this item so I could post an accurate description for the auction. Once I compared this doorstop to mine, I noticed the similarity. Regardless, it doesn't make him any less adorable. Wouldn't you like to adopt him into your family? He doesn't eat much, he doesn't shed and he never needs to be let out for potties or a walk. How's that for a low-maintenance BT? This unique set is from Japan. They're slightly imperfect with a few tiny chips, and the markings are a bit off as you can see in the photo (around the mouth), but that doesn't really detract from their cuteness.
