Heidi

Heidi got her rescue start in 1999, and over the years she has had the pleasure of meeting and working with many, many wonderful people. She worked as a fundraiser, transporter and webmaster for a few different Boston Terrier organizations before Wanda invited her to become a founding member of American Boston Terrier Rescue. Of the various duties she performed for rescue, it was fundraising that Heidi loved best and that prompted her to open a fun little online boutique called BeanDogsCafe (http://beandogscafe.com) to raise money for rescue and animal welfare organizations across the US and Canada.

She is owned by four Boston Terriers (aka the BeanDogs): Ollie, Jazz, Turtle and Goose. Jazz (BARC) was her first adopted rescue, Turtle (Wanderz) followed in 2002, and Goose (ABTR) was adopted in April of 2009.

Heidi is a proud Texas Aggie who loves A&M football, good Tex-Mex, and dogs of all kinds. She has a special affinity for seniors and bully breeds, and plans to one day own a rescue retirement ranch for bullies and displaced senior dogs.
